SV Wedlock yearly review- Vol II, Part A
Alas, here I am finally writing, for the second year in succession, the SV Wedlock
review. It has been quite a momentous year for the SV Wedlock and I am enthralled to
give you an aerial perspective of the same. The first year has been an eclectic assortment of thoughts, emotions, words, actions painted in all hues of VIBGYOR on the canvas of the lives of the couple and its really a matter of elation that I feel that the wedlock has faired very well for the first year, given Almighty’s grace and basic understanding that the hearts and minds of the SV couple share. I start from where I left last year, the couple began a new journey, both inwards and outwards, in the path of their lives in a comfortable, cheerful and pleasant home of their own in a better part of the city. They decorated the house with their crème-la-de-crème aesthetic taste and ameliorated it with their love & trust made it their home. And that’s when the real realization of responsibilities, work and the litmus test of having a congenial work-life balance began.
There were many a hardships, like a very demanding office job that kept the bride full plate in its clutches. The groom really put in lagniappe effort during that time to ensure a seamless flow of chores. The bride peregrinated to various cities of the country and abroad on work and enriched her percipience of other ethos and people. But personal life was taking a backseat for the couple, for they could not always have the benefit of their evenings of dinner at their favorite restaurant or a disco night out. However, the doting mothers of the SV couple knapsacked them delicious home made goodies for the weekend so that the couple could savor the scrumptious delicacies and spend some quality time together. That phase passed, and the bride moved job to a top notch firm that gave her more time for herself and the groom, better career prospects were the added benefits. In the meantime, the groom got busy now, traveling to other cities, strategizing mega deals for the corporate house he worked for, heading the Business Development department and talking to media about the cosmetic product line and beautiful Hollywood actors who endorse those products. Wish he could name his wife as well along with the
bright Ms P. However, things were balanced. Mr Buddy, in continuance with the SVB
Loyalty Pact, got his nouveau share of much requited affection from the bride and groom. These days, he doesn’t take his meals without a great deal of cajoling. He now can emulate the looks and persona of a doll, for his innocent and sweet look. He also indulges in much of lap hugs.
Their happy home was often visited by the sharp and smart Ms P for short durations and she thoroughly enjoyed herself being showered by the couple’s kind hospitality.
But due to a twist of fate, the couple can’t be blessed with her kind company so often as they would like.
For the second year, the Health and Well-being Analysis conducted for Messrs SV by
none other than the bright Ms P throws light on the expanding waistbands of one of the parties concerned. Though there has been a major improvement in the efforts by the party concerned to include exercise regime, however the excess consumption of
certain hard drinks spills water on the efforts. Nevertheless, the other party has taken the waistband issue with grave concern and improved upon it significantly. To award her for her continued efforts, we are pleased bless her with a dish prepared by Ms P, the gourmet and chef, to the SV couple in a few days. The areas of improvement include squash and more squash, controlled drinking, regular walks to malls for the makeover of Ms P to match Mumbai’s style quotient and controlled eating. Also the bride’s brother, the young and smart Mr H requires their kind affection and attention in the absence of Ms P- his ever so loving sister.
So till next yearly review, heres hoping the SV Wedlock does really well in all their
personal and professional endeavors!
Cheers to SV Wedlock!!
Congratulations on completing ONE YEAR AND THREE MONTHS of blissful
marriage.
Yours for life,
Ms P & Mr H
